Indian in Singapore ("the site", "we", "us") is a personal, community-run website - not a registered company. It exists to help Indians living in or moving to Singapore find useful information, businesses and events. By using the site you agree to these terms.
1. Who we are
The site is maintained by an individual on a volunteer basis. It is not a licensed immigration, legal, tax, medical or financial advisor. Contact: hey@indianinsingapore.com.
2. Nature of content
- Guides and articles are informational and may be out of date. Always verify with official sources (ICA, MOM, MOE, IRAS, HDB, MAS etc.) before acting.
- Partner and business listings, community groups, restaurants, schools and events are provided as a directory. We do not run, own, endorse or vet these businesses beyond a basic review.
- Live data (currency rates, market indices, weather) is fetched from third-party sources and is indicative only.
3. User accounts and posts
- You must provide accurate information when signing up.
- You are responsible for anything posted from your account (events, community signups, feedback).
- You must not post content that is illegal, misleading, defamatory, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, discriminatory, spam, or that infringes anyone's rights.
- You must have the right to share any photos, logos or text you submit.
- By submitting content, you give us a non-exclusive right to display, moderate, edit or remove it.
4. Moderation
We may edit, hide, unpublish or delete any submission at our discretion, without notice - for example if it is inaccurate, off-topic, unsafe, or if we receive credible complaints. We may also suspend accounts that misuse the site.
5. Third parties
Any transaction, agreement or dealing with a listed business, event organiser or community group is strictly between you and that third party. We are not a party to it. See our Disclaimer for full details.
6. Intellectual property
Site design, original text and imagery are © Indian in Singapore. You may share links and short excerpts with attribution. Republishing full articles requires written permission.
7. Availability
The site is provided "as is". We do not guarantee uptime, accuracy, completeness, or continued availability of any feature.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.
9. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after an update means you accept the new version.
